The highest-paid jobs in London

What London was advertising in September 2026, and what it paid.

We listed 751 senior roles in London from 91 employers in September 2026. 131 of them stated a salary (17.4%). These are the 5 highest-paid of them.

How these 5 were chosen

The highest-paid permanent roles in the city that stated a salary clearing £100,000, on the day this was captured, with at most one role per employer. Not “the most interesting”, which is not a claim anyone could check. A role advertised at an hourly or daily rate is ranked on a full-time-year equivalent so it can be compared with a salary; the advertised figure is always the one shown, never the conversion. Roles with no stated pay cannot appear here at all, which is a limitation of the list rather than of the roles.

This page records September 2026. 3 of these 5 roles have since come off the board — filled, expired or withdrawn — and are marked below. For what is open now, see the live board.

What the list does not show

Only 131 of 751 roles stated a salary, so this ranks a minority and says nothing about the rest. The pattern is the one we find everywhere: public-sector and clinical employers publish pay and most private ones do not, so a list ordered by advertised salary tends to fill up with healthcare wherever it is drawn.
